Michelle Claassen, director of Service and Quality Assurance at ExcellerateHRO, is responsible for driving and maintaining consistent global quality and service excellence for clients.
In this role, Claassen also leads teams in security and data privacy, compliance, client audit, and vendor management.
Additionally, Claassen has responsibility for ExcellerateHRO's Program and Business Offices and knowledgeCentre. She previously served as ExcellerateHRO director of operations, compliance and transformation, directing teams focused on achieving cost reduction through productivity and maintaining operational excellence.
With 16 years of information technology operations and management experience, Claassen has held a variety of executive positions in EDS' financial services and oil and gas industry client groups. In EDS' Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific regions, Claassen was responsible for executive and operational relationships, P&L, business growth, delivery, and service excellence. She assisted and led a number of major sales pursuits.
As enterprise client delivery executive for a leading international oil company, Claassen helped the client achieve strategic cost goals and operational excellence through technology innovation, using global best practices, processes and tools, and Best Shore® services.
Claassen has been a member of the Energy Institute since 2001. She received a bachelor's degree in information technology, with emphasis on financial accounting and information systems, from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
